November 2021

Dear Parishioners of Saint Joseph Congregation,

This letter brings with it a prayer for God’s abundant blessings for you and for your family and friends. Once again, we are considering our stewardship of all that God loans to us to live and thrive and grow; and, we are considering how we show our gratitude to God by attentively caring for His gifts.

Stewardship is an expression of our faith and trust in God’s providence. It is not simply a financial issue; rather, it actually touches every aspect of our lives. To show our gratitude, we return to God a portion of who we are and what we have.

As your new pastor, I am grateful for all of the people who have welcomed me. As a missionary priest, I truly appreciate what we have and how God has blessed us. Our parish offers multiple ways to share our time, talent, and treasure. We are grateful to those who, throughout the years, have been such generous stewards, offering not simply their financial support, but also the gifts of themselves.

Today, I ask you to continue caring for others and to prayerfully consider your commitment to God through this year’s appeal. Please return the enclosed forms on or by Commitment Sunday, November 14. During Masses on November 13 and 14, you will have an opportunity to place your commitment forms in a basket near the altar.

Please support this year’s Stewardship Appeal to keep our parish alive and vibrant!

Thank you very much for your past generosity. And, thank you for your generous commitment to our shared future.
