Adoration 101
WHAT IS ADORATION? It is an opportunity to encounter Christ through Adoration, Praise and Worship.
HOW LONG SHOULD I STAY: Any amount of time spent with our Lord is time well spent!
WHY SHOULD WE GO TO ADORATION? In our busy lives it is very hard to hear the “quiet voice of God.”
In Adoration, we can pour out our joys, trials, confusion and sorrows to Christ. In return, we receive hope, faith and peace. We are not alone. Christ is with us!
WHAT SHOULD WE DO AT ADORATION? A good place to begin is to acknowledge God’s loving
gaze upon us. Like a parent looking with love at their child ... God does the same thing! Many people start by thanking God specifically for all the blessings in their lives. We can acknowledge sin in our lives .... those times we have turned
away from God and hurt others. We might then place any struggles, worries or fears that we have before Jesus.
